The Cyber Summit was a half-day event that was held on Wednesday, May 26, 2021, hosted and sponsored by NXTsoft, Hand Arendall, HUB International, and PayZoom. The Summit featured speakers from each of the sponsoring companies along with a panel discussion to conclude the event. Click on the links below to view the presentations:
Joe McEnerney is currently the Vice President of NXTsoft with over 25 years of progressively responsible positions in finance and operations management including positions as Chief Risks Officer, Senior Leader, and Chief Financial Officer. McEnerney has worked at two regional banks (AmSouth and Regions Bank) and at two community banks (FNB Baldwin County in Foley, AL, and Citizens National Bank in Meridian, MS). In addition, McEnerney worked for FDIC. He also has obtained an MBA with a double major in finance and operations management for the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University and has an undergraduate degree in engineering and environmental sciences from Auburn University.
Nate Roulston has been in the merchant credit card processing business for over 20 years. Nate founded PayZoom in 2006. PayZoom is a credit card processing independent sales office that is front-end agnostic to acquirer platform. ZoomPay has access to nearly every major acquirer in the US and Canada and can tailor its processing solutions to fit the specific needs of any prospects or clients. PayZoom utilizes non-proprietary APIs, gateways, and point-of-sale systems and offers unique solutions such as interchange management, crypto-integration and makes payment card compliance easy. The company specializes in providing merchant processing for e-commerce businesses, retail stores, health care, education, C-Stores, and government entities.
Chris Williams is a member of the firm and in Hand Arendall Harrison Sale's Commercial Litigation Section. He helped form the firm's Cybersecurity Practice Group in 2016 and has handled multiple cyber matters for clients, including spear phishing attacks, ransomware, man-in-the-middle email schemes, wire instruction fraud, and data breach claims. He has served as breach counsel for clients following a data breach, helped craft notification for compromised personal information pursuant to state and federal disclosure laws, and defended privacy and class action lawsuits resulting from a breach. He has assisted clients in the implementation of cyber policies and the navigation of cyber insurance coverage issues following a breach.
Allen Chapman has extensive experience in creating insurance solutions for a range of industry segments, including aviation, public entities, manufacturing, large regional retail operations, marine, medical clinics, non-profits, and technology. He has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry and strives to maintain strong working relationships with his clients by providing reliable risk management and insurance solutions. As Executive Vice President at HUB International, he works closely with his clients to provide expertise and assistance in implementing an insurance program that's tailored to their needs.
