Rice saw the company’s growth as an opportunity to fill all gaps that could be identified in IT security. “ThreatAdvice Educate and ThreatAdvice vCISO made a lot of sense for us,” Rice added. Rice explained how ThreatAdvice vCISO opened a door for Cobbs Allen with New York compliance standards. “In New York, security regulations required us to have a CISO or compliance officer on staff to operate and conduct business in the state. The virtual CISO filled that need for us without having to take on the expense of an inhouse CISO.”
Ensuring New York state compliance wasn’t the only need that vCISO met for Cobbs Allen. “In the past, we’ve op
